Call for Nominations
The Institute for Innovations in Engineering and Technology (IIET) is pleased to announce the IIET International Excellence Awards-2026, an annual initiative established to recognize and honour outstanding contributions in Education, Research, Innovation, Science, Engineering, Technology, Management, Entrepreneurship, and Industrial Development.
These prestigious awards celebrate individuals who have demonstrated excellence through teaching, research, innovation, academic leadership, industrial achievements, entrepreneurship, and professional service. The awards aim to encourage and recognize remarkable contributions that advance knowledge, inspire innovation, and create a positive impact on society.
Self-nominations as well as nominations from Institutions, Universities, Research Organizations, Industries, and Professional Bodies are invited from eligible candidates across India and abroad.
Award Categories & Eligibility Criteria
1. Lifetime Achievement Award
- Have a minimum of 20 years of teaching, research, academic administration, or industrial experience.
- Have made exceptional contributions to higher education, research, innovation, or professional development.
- Possess an outstanding record of publications, patents, funded projects, or other distinguished achievements.
2. Distinguished Professor Award
- Be serving or retired Professors/Associate Professors.
- Have at least 15 years of teaching and research experience.
- Demonstrate excellence in academic leadership, research publications, mentorship, and institutional development.
3. Outstanding Research Excellence Award
- Have a minimum of 5 years of research experience.
- Possess quality publications in reputed journals.
- Demonstrate excellence through patents, funded research projects, consultancy, innovations, or technology transfer.
4. Best Women Faculty Award
- Have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience.
- Demonstrate excellence in teaching, mentoring, research, and academic service.
- Have notable academic and professional achievements.
5. Best Women Scientist Award
- Have at least 5 years of research experience.
- Demonstrate excellence through publications, patents, funded projects, scientific discoveries, or technological innovations.
- Be affiliated with Universities, Research Institutions, Industries, or Government Organizations.
6. Best Teacher Award
- Have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
- Demonstrate excellence in teaching, curriculum development, student mentoring, and academic activities.
7. Best Young Scientist Award
- Be 35 years of age or below.
- Have at least 3 years of research experience.
- Demonstrate outstanding research contributions through publications, patents, innovations, or technology development.
8. Best Researcher Award
- Have a minimum of 5 years of research experience.
- Demonstrate excellence through research publications, patents, funded projects, consultancy, and innovation.
9. Best Research Scholar Award
- Be currently registered for a Ph.D. or have recently completed a Ph.D.
- Submit proof of University Ph.D. Registration or Degree Award Certificate.
- Demonstrate excellence through quality research publications and thesis work.
10. Young Innovator Award
- Be students, research scholars, or young professionals.
- Have developed innovative products, prototypes, technologies, patents, or startup ideas.
- Demonstrate measurable technological or societal impact.
11. Innovation Excellence Award
- Have successfully developed innovative technologies, products, patents, research outcomes, or commercialization initiatives.
- Demonstrate significant industrial or societal impact through innovation.
12. Best Industry Professional Award
- Have a minimum of 5 years of professional or industrial experience.
- Demonstrate excellence in engineering, technology, manufacturing, research & development, management, or industrial leadership.
13. Outstanding Academic Leader Award
- Be serving as Principal, Director, Dean, Registrar, Head of Department, or equivalent academic administrator.
- Demonstrate excellence in institutional development, accreditation, research promotion, governance, and academic leadership.
14. Entrepreneurship Excellence Award
- Be startup founders, entrepreneurs, innovators, or business leaders.
- Demonstrate excellence in entrepreneurship, innovation, technology commercialization, business growth, or social impact.
15. Best Student Achievement Award
- Be pursuing Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, or Ph.D. programmes.
- Demonstrate outstanding achievements in academics, research, innovation, leadership, entrepreneurship, or extracurricular activities.

Selection Process
- Step 1: Submit the Online Nomination Form.
- Step 2: Preliminary scrutiny of all nominations by the IIET Screening Committee.
- Step 3: Evaluation by the IIET Expert Jury Committee based on:

- Step 4: Selected nominees will receive an official Selection Notification through email.
- Step 5: Selected candidates shall complete the registration process by paying the prescribed registration fee within the stipulated deadline.
