Every year, IIET gives out the “Best Technical Institution/Private University of the Year Award” for higher education institutions in the four categories of placement, research, infrastructure and academics, “Best Department of the Year Award” for educational institution’s programs (Departments), “Best Management/ Principal of the Year Award” for Managements/ principals of higher education institutions/ Private Universities, “IIET’s Research Excellence Award/ Young Researcher Award” to young researchers and academicians, “Best HoD of the year Award”, “Best Teaching faculty of the year Award”, Best Innovative Technologist/Engineer of the year Award”, “Best Technician of the year Award”, “Best Student of the year Award”, “Best Student Project of the year Award”.
CATEGORIES OF IIET-AWARDS
32 “Best Technical Institution/ Private University of the Year (BTIY/ BPUY)” Awards for higher education institutions in recognition of their noteworthy contributions to the technical community in three categories: excellent placements, academic excellence, substantial research and outstanding infrastructure.
8 “Best Management of the year (BMY)” Awards for outstanding Administrative skills to satisfy the needs of all the stake holders of the Institution.
80 “Best Department of the Year (BDY)” Awards for educational institution’s programs (Departments) based on placements, research activity and academic performance of the Department.
32 “Best Principal of the Year (BPY)” Awards for principals of higher education institutions for their academic and professional accomplishments in the field of education. The “Best Principal of the Year Awards” will be given to the principals of higher education institutions in recognition of their significant contributions to the institution-building process as well as their illustrious careers as management academic role models well-liked by the faculty, staff, and student communities.
32 “Best HoD of the year (BHY)” Awards to Heads of various academic departments at educational institutions for their outstanding management and leadership. It is founded on human resource (staff) management, financial management, research accountability, quality measures to meet defined Programme outcomes (POs) and Programme educational objectives (PEOs) as well as personal specification (Skills, Experience, Research etc.).
100 “IIET’s Research Excellence Award / Young Researcher of the year (REA/YRYA)” awards to young researchers and academicians. The purpose of the IIET’s Research Excellence Award/Young Researcher of the year Award is to reward researchers for their hard work in publishing their research in reputable international journals or conferences. All of the aforementioned titles have the same application process and rewards. For Young Researcher of the year award the maximum Age should be 35 years.
32 “Best Innovative Technologist/ Engineer of the year (BITY/ BIEY)” Awards to the Technocrats from industries and institutions for their Technical/Engineering skills in solving societal problems with the help of Technology/ Engineering and related applications.
32 “Best Teaching faculty of the year (BTFY)” Awards, to teaching Professionals of HEI’s for their teaching excellence, collaboration with students on research projects, active involvement with students in activities, good academic record, development and performance in their area of expertise. Minimum teaching experience must be 2 years and he/she must currently be a working professional.
32 “Best Technician of the year (BTY)” awards to Technicians of HEI’s for their cooperation and support in Training the students to operate the machinery and to do the work with it.
More than 100 “Best Student of the year (BSY)” Awards to the students of UG/PG for their extraordinary performance in Academics and Research.
More than 100 “Best Student Project of the year (BSPY)” Awards to the Project Batches for their innovative projects. And Project Batches will get the opportunity for publishing their work as Research article in IIET Journal with 50% concession in APC.

The Institute/Department will have two pages set aside for advertising in the IIET News later, which will be distributed to all the stake holders of IIET throughout the nation.
All Ph.D. holders at the institute/ Department will be granted IIET-Journal Editorial Board membership, along with the editorial board member certificate.
All Institute/ Department faculties will have IIET Professional Membership at Rs.500/- only (Only e-Certificate and e-Id card will be issued). Generally the Individual membership fee is Rs.3000/-, Institute membership fee is Rs.25000/- and Department membership fee is Rs.10000/-.
If the terms & conditions of establishment of Faculty Chapter are satisfied Department/ Institution membership E-certificate will be issued.
Benefits of IIET’s Research Excellence Award/ Young Researcher of the Year Award / Best Teaching Faculty of the year Award/ Best Principal of the Year Award/ Best HoD of the Year Award/ Best Innovative Technologist/Engineer of the year Award:
A hard copy of the certificate with the respective Award Title and a Memento will be given, along with the awardee’s name and research paper title (in the case of Research Excellence Award/ Young Researcher of the Year Award) details.

Research article from the student project will be published in the “IIET-JOURNAL (IJIET) with 50% concession in APC.
All registered team members will receive a participation certificate (Maximum of 5 students per project).
The Project guide will be awarded a Guide ship Certificate.
A Department participation certificate will be given if more than 5 teams from the department register for this contest.
A College participation certificate will be given if more than 25 teams from the college register.
